AND IT WANTED NOTHING BUT OUR SONG
My name is Amanda, though in class you'll know me as Amy. I'm twenty years old and attend Rowan for RTF/Writing Arts: New Media. While I'm pretty stuck on seeing every movie in theaters, my obsessions change with the seasons. Currently I've got a thing for binge-watching documentaries, speaking in 70's slang, and making mixtapes on 8tracks. (If you were interested in seeing those, click here. It's like the mecca of Americana and OSTs because I live and breathe movie soundtracks.) The only sport I avidly follow is international football and I become a monster during the World Cup. Eventually my main goal is to get enough cash so I can buy property in Disney World -- no, seriously, you can do that now.
All I do is write; if only this was an exaggeration. On the internet, I create television/movie manipulations and writing/research groups for aspiring spec-script/novelists -- it's a long story. In real life, I just finished my first thriller novel titled Eighteen and it's in the revision/query stages before I (hopefully) find a literary agent. Considering that's what I avidly spent a whole year on (though it's been in the works for seven years) I like to mention it. It's sort of my only answer for "why don't you go outside."
But this is me, the twenty-something writer who's too opinionated about the world and likes to create her own galaxies in cyberspace.
